The P365 platform is very versatile. As a note the parts are also relatively inexpensive if you shop around. If I recall they were on sale. Osage County Guns is my "go to" online store for P365 mags.Uplula is more universal while the Makershot is specific to the P365 mags but also much cheaper. Once you get them fully loaded, leave them like that until your next range trip. Even now, keep them loaded with as many as you can get in there. TThe Sig Sauer P229 has a double-action trigger press weight of about ten pounds. Once the hammer is cocked after the first shot, the single-action weight is about 4.5 pounds. Your Ruger is right at 6 lbs.I sold my P938 because I found it was deficient in all aspects compared to the P365. Including ammo capacity. One attribute of the P365 is the size of the trigger guard, which accomodates a gloved hand better. Any gains achieved by polishing will not likely show up on your target 7-15 yards away. Where and how consistently the bullet hits should be the goal, not the feel of the trigger. The P365 X-macro isn't that much smaller than the stock m18 but is definitely thinner which would help with printing. If you wanted smaller the P365X is a better option without going to a much shorter grip in the P365. And, a PMM comp can be placed on the front giving the same length as the Xmacro. ... I tried all the suggestions from Sig and the internet. The safety was down, I reset the recoil spring etc., but the slide would get stuck with about 1/2 " to go.
