Two possibilities. The coil has been mentioned, but the tank may not be properly venting, or the fuel filter may be plugged. Easy to check for the tank vent, when the saw dies, open the gas cap and listen for a vacuum hiss as it opens. Very likely is the problem.Yep, Jonsered is gone. The Stihl carbs are the Walbro (WA-1D, WA-86D, WT-15A). All of these are NLA. The only option I can seem to find is the Tillotson HU-7, these are on factory backorder until they have enough orders to justify making a batch.
