This value is set to 300 on every other Unifi router and is much higher on most linux distributions. 30 is way to low, and I have to think it's a bug that they've set it this low. The router, the Omada controller, a 24-port POE+ switch, and three EAP660HD APs, and one outdoor AP can all be had for under $1100. The same setup with Ubiquiti was going to run me at least $2000, and from what I can tell, while TP-Link's Omada isn't yet as polished as UniFi, it'll get there I think.. This means setting up a new device is a real PITA. You'll need to watch firewall logs to see what networks/IPs the device needs connections too and then allow them through the firewall.Ubiquiti works well for certain cases- like creating dense, multi AP covered spaces at a reasonable cost. Since you are getting more of them you don't want the wider dispersion angle of the LR, you want narrower and lower power.
